I keep getting calls from a year-round special program school, saying they are calling for Mr. and Mrs. Not Me Or My Husband about [name of their son]. They have called me every day for four days.

Since I rarely have my phone audible at work and basically never in the same room as me at home, I have missed all of these calls. They keep leaving this message and they are calling from an untraceable location.

As I KEEP getting these calls, they must have actually put my number down.

I hope the school I cannot call back eventually figures out they're not calling Boy's family. I also hope the child is okay. I am not sure what to think of parents that put down the wrong phone number for their child who may be at year round boarding school. Hopefully it was just ambiguous, hard to read handwriting, but you'd think they would have fixed it by now ...

If you feel comfortable with it, maybe temporarily change your voicemail message to say something like “You have reached $LEGALNAME, please leave a message. If you are calling from $SCHOOL regarding one of your students, I am sorry but you have a wrong number.”?
