I was supposed to go to a thesis meeting.

Instead I'm in the emergency department with Mom, who we think might have had a heart attack, but also maybe not. The symptoms were all kind of "well it's possible" and I wasn't comfortable calling it either way so we came here.

At least we were taken back right away and given immediate attention/aspirin/oxygen. Just, wow, everything possible is trying to shoot my productivity in the foot. And it's only because I had a DMARD infusion yesterday that I wasn't at work!

She seems to be doing quite well! Even if it were cardiac, which it probably isn't at this point, we caught it so early it'd be of little concern.
