I am full of nail-spit outrage about this and this to the point where ... I must be operating in some different, horrible reality. As I said in an email to my mother, "I generally think that nothing this administration does can surprise or upset me anymore, like I've just reached a baseline upon which I cannot be outraged any more because I have reached peak outrage but cutting funding for NGC?! I legitimately have to be concerned that Dad's spirit is having an aneurysm and dying again."

I've also hit a wall at work and can only tell external evaluators that I'm "working on it" because I can't analyze reports I have not received yet, step it up other departments.

Everybody's got their own "but but but AAARRGHHH" outrage that personally twists the knife for them and, horribly, this administration has something for everyone.
