Well, I WAS going to be home at 8pm! I had a wonderful time with my friends but was looking forward to my husband and my bed (Trip is at dog training camp having a blast until Friday) ... instead, I'm at my godparents' apartment in Miami Beach since my MIA > LGA flight got surprise canceled just as we were leaving for the airport.

THANKFULLY I KNOW PEOPLE HERE.

I have a headache and I am tired, but I'm in Miami Beach and not in the snow for one more night. I'm also losing a vacation day to traveling all day because I have to leave at 5am and then have a 3 hour layover in Philadelphia, but ... not in the snow?


Sorry to people who I gave the impression I would be paying attention to the internet somewhat while I was gone, because the ship wifi was pretty much just Too Expensive this time.

The cruise was lovely, except for the Mexican Coke debacle in which we learned that Mexican Coke in the US (also Sprite, Diet Coke) and Mexican Coca-Cola Products in Mexico are not the same and when actually in Mexico they contain stevia which made all of us sick. Other than that! That was just a blip like how on the last cruise my 2nd degree burn was just a blip! Fond memories all around.

Me. Too. Considering tomorrow still looks, um, they closed NYC schools. This does mean I am not losing a vacation day because it also means my job will be closed (any public city institution etc) but it does mean that I still might not get to LGA, though hopefully I at least make it to PHL, then I can just take a train.
