the way shorter mobile version of the post I wanted to make
Jaw surgery part three time today! I recommend never getting osteomyelitis. It was nearly four years ago. I am still fixing things in my face.
Sorry to the people I promised RP responses to last night who I fell asleep on instead - there are a number of you - I'm going to get there via tablet before they knock me out, it's a three hour drive to get to my specialist.
(Sadly none of this is going to make my face LOOK right again, just hurt less. Looking right is going to require a chin augment at the very least and possibly buccal fat pad removals, and insurance doesn't cover that any more than they do replacing the missing teeth*, because insurance considers TEETH and RECOGNIZING YOURSELF IN THE MIRROR to be cosmetic.
* I have no lower molars on my left, and I may wake up with no upper ones either, don't know yet.)

It looks like a relatively normal face, no external disfigurement, but it doesn't look like MY face and that is, oddly enough, very distressing.
