Moving updates
Aug. 2nd, 2018 12:24 pmMattress: Supposed to be delivered today; I'm concerned they will either try to deliver it when no one is home or when the dog is. (We're still not sleeping there, clearly, but we hang out there in the evenings since it's a less stressful commuting situation for me for us to meet up at the apartment and then go together in the car back to mom's house)
Other furniture: Thew new stuff arrived today. This paste from a message from Brady, who was home for that, makes me wonder if we'll ever get OUT of this apartment again:
But then my boss recommended Furniture Doctors after hearing about this. Not that I'm likely to want to move out of our expensive studio with walls (it is seriously tiny and yes the rent is more than $1500 and more than our weekly income) anytime soon but it's Manhattan, we could get priced out quickly.
And now, ( a picture of the couch looking the nicest it ever will, because it came with all these BEAUTIFUL throw pillows but we have a dog who eats pillows and so I'm going to mourn and then only have two of them out at a time ... )

Oh god the bed pieces barely fit through the door XD
They're sliiiiiding them through the hallway space, then TILTING THEM INTO THE BATHROOM to be able to get them through the bedroom door which is smaller...
And by sliding I mean "wrapped, so they aren't scratching the floor, there's aboooout half an inch of space to work with"
