delight: (stop making sense)
I have made it home; I got another glucocorticoid injection, approximately one blood donation's worth of tubes to test things that have been tested before (many are DMARD monitoring and then he ran the antibody panel again because Reasons??? I don't actually know), prescriptions that can't be filled without prior authorization but thankfully the pharmacy called while I was still sitting in the infusion room so I just let the MA know and I hope she passed the message on to my doctor.

They may have fixed my access to MyChart. People keep apologizing to me because it's embarrassing to have screwed up the EHR in front of an EHR expert who they've called to help them with things before, but I understand how annoying the particular error is, so it was amusing more than anything.

This treatment has uniformly given me unpleasant cold sweats in the period after receiving it, so I'm now curled up on the couch awaiting the oncoming storm and letting the TV make noises that I'm intermittently paying attention to. And giggling to myself because another [community profile] hexarchate_rpg player lives in the neighborhood I work in (the one I was also born in) - not just the borough, the specific neighborhood in the same borough. Small world indeed. Also the one I was just in, because all my doctors are there.

Extra awesomely, so is my pharmacy now because they opened a CVS a block away from my office which I am very excited about. They're also clearly a very prompt pharmacy, considering the whole 'called about prior auth before I had actually even finished my treatment' situation.
