○ This office is bizarrely loud for a Monday morning (we aren't fully staffed Mondays). I had thought my email was bizarrely quiet until I realized I just hadn't opened it yet.

○ I still hate money, but I also really appreciate those of you who have been tossing in some (or a lot of) bucks to help out. ♥ I'm too overwhelmed for individual thanks and I am SO SORRY for that.

○ I'd written an entire app for [community profile] hexarchate_rpg, then realized something and had to go back and change a whole bunch of it but now there's a big throwback to the original universe the character comes from just hidden in there that I can play with instead of having to completely improvise a history for someone who is Not As Young As They Look.

○ Depression totally still winning, but not by as much as it was.

○ Tomorrow is Trip's first day in the office and I am very nervous.

Car update

The dealership body shop guys banged some stuff around and made the drivers' side door open for free, because they can't replace the fender (it needs to be replaced, bye money) within the timeframe before Brady needs to be able to drive to work.

While doing that, the body shop guy realized the tire was actually fucked up from having been hit by the fender, SO the tire is now being replaced. That is free, because I bought a tire plan when I bought the car. I had spare funds when I purchased the car and had a feeling that it would benefit me when in the future I was not living rent free. This was a really, really good idea. (I also purchased a maintenance plan. In both cases, I won't have to pay anything for tires or any maintenance work until there are 60k miles on the car. Thank you so much, past me.)

Tomorrow it can be picked up with a new front tire again, since we blew out the front passenger tire earlier this year (they have now lost money on my purchasing the tire plan) and then it will just be ugly on a corner for a bit but fully functional. Could have been worse.
