Aug. 21st, 2013 11:23 amI missed this before, which is a giant bummer because I would've gone (I also would've gone to Cymbeline, had I known they were doing it, as it is one of a few Shakespeare works -- I think there are like 5 -- that I actually enjoy on their own merit and find pleasure in the story itself) but I think it is still worth sharing.
Shakespeare in the Parking Lot put on Richard III this year, highlighting that "Art imitates life. The bones of King Richard III were found beneath an English parking lot. We have known for a long time that parking lots and Shakespeare were connected. So, we decided to bring Richard III back to life in a parking lot."
